Tami Siewruk

Tami Siewruk began leasing apartments in 1976, and has held leasing, marketing, management, and business development positions up to and including Vice President of Property Management. Having begun her career on the front lines, she has maintained a career-long passion for staying connected to the day-to-day challenges faced by apartment professionals at every level, and for connecting them with the resources they need to succeed! Her other guiding passion—and special talent—is for spotting trends, and framing them within the context of our industry to not only identify their implications to our future, but to spotlight ways that we can immediately begin capitalizing on them today.
Tami speaks not only from a rare level and breadth of real-world experience in all facets of property management, but also as an owner and developer of award winning apartment communities in four states. As President of Siewruk Development, she has completed a 192-unit apartment community in Austin, Texas; and in partnership with Conine Residential Group & The Huizinga Group, developed 305 units in Dallas, Texas. She currently has a small resort under construction in the Bahamas.
Tami's breadth of experience and expertise has made her a highly sought-after professional speaker at corporate and association events nationwide as well as a consultant for private corporate endeavors. In addition, she served as Editor of NAHB’s Multifamily Management magazine and as Chairman for the NAHB Multifamily Council sub-committee. Tami has authored several leading industry publications, including Multifamilypro’s popular 101 Secrets to Relationship Leasing, and Write a Winning Multifamily Marketing Plan. Multifamilypro’s “Big Book” series—including proven traffic generation and management ideas and Community Marketing Tracker—are mainstays on the bookshelves of apartment communities from coast to coast. Barbie Figueroa has been with Multifamilypro since it all began in 1991. As VP of Operations, she is responsible development of standard procedures, adherence to strategy, corporate financial management, and full oversight of Multifamilypro's day-to-day operations.
Barbie's position on our core team is that of our primary “reality checker” with a special gift for focusing on the details and a consuming passion for getting things right the first time. She brings these strengths full-force to all that we do as a company which translates to outstanding control of quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness for our consulting clients, product customers, and event attendees.
Her oversight and 20+ years of insightful experience in keeping us on track as a company ensure that the business end of things are more than taken care at every level of our organization, so we're free to also be as creative and innovative as possible in all that we do.
Prior to joining Multifamilypro, Barbie was a top performing Collections Manager for a large automobile financing company. She's the proud mother of two wonderful young people, and one very spoiled dog.

Joann Follert

Joann Follert joined Team Multifamilypro in February of 1992. As VP of Product Management, she oversees the production, quality control, and delivery of Multifamilypro tools, forms, and publications; inventory strategy; product life-cycle management and process improvement; and our customer feedback loop, ensuring that user demands are addressed as fully as possible in all that we do. Jo also plays a key role in the production of our conferences and seminars, taking a personal and hands-on approach to both selecting and managing transport of all that we need to our venues, from large props all the way down to paperclips with no detail overlooked; so we're able to produce outstanding and unforgettable events, whether under our own brand or your company's.

Monique A. Guion
Vice President of Communications / Director of Making Stuff Work
Monique Guion joined Team Multifamilypro in 1994, bringing her previous experience as a United States Navy Petty Officer and civilian Pentagon staffer in various technology support, development, education, technical writing, and copy writing capacities.
As VP of Communications, Mo oversees internal and external interactions including design, development, production, and content delivery for Multifamilypro's many publications, online platforms, and new media outlets; marketing planning and execution; and event planning. Mo's intensely creative and communicative strengths have translated into hundreds of successful Multifamily events, in-demand products and publications, and impactful marketing campaigns; and ensure that the products, services, and events that we produce for our clients are as well-designed, remarkable, and memorable as they can be in every way.
Mo is a two-time recipient of the Navy Achievement Medal for meritorious service under the command of the Chief of Naval Operations, a stateside veteran of the first Gulf War, the recipient of several US Navy Civilian Special Act Awards, and the one yelling "Go, Sam!" at the high school wrestling match while posting to Facebook at the same time.

Jennifer James
VP of National Sales / Director of Getting You There
Jennifer James began her multifamily career as the National Apartment Association's Director of National Sales for both their annual expo and Units Magazine. She joined Multifamilypro in 2004, and is known for the time, extreme care, and personal touch with which she strategically aligns companies with the many opportunities that we offer.
As VP of National Sales, Jenn applies her 20+ years of outstanding sales experience (15 of which are multifamily-specific) to overseeing our partnerships with the sponsors and exhibitors of our events, conferences, online platforms, and other endeavors. Her innate talent for creative sales strategy, comprehensive understanding of the apartment business, ability to speak its language fluently, and vast insight into the needs of the companies that serve our industry all translate into an amazing customer experience for those who exhibit at our events and sponsor our endeavors, as well as providing outstanding opportunities for those companies to establish and build better relationships with their own clients and future customers. Jenn's genuine care for our clients and their goals is evident in the continually growing number of partnerships that Multifamilypro is privileged to have.
In addition to getting your company great results, Jenn runs a marathon now and then; markets her husband's music; and mothers two boys. She's a licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia, and lives in Mississippi near the border of Tennessee.

Leslie Zane
Director of Making Stuff Look Good
Leslie Zane joined the Multifamilypro Team in November of 1998 as our staff Designer, and now serves as our special design consultant. Also an accomplished traditional media artist, Leslie specializes in digital design, desktop publishing, and helping to bring our ideas to life in the form of products, marketing materials, publications, ads, etc. that persuasively engage the eyes and minds of Multifamilypro's customers and clients; and as is often the case with the products we provide, the customers and residents that they serve, as well.
A creative adventurer at heart, Leslie's interests include drawing, swimming, mountaineering, film, the performing arts, camping, and canoeing. While lending her unique expertise and insight to our team as needed; Leslie is also currently pursuing a practice in Psychology in northern California.
